It had a really nice golden brown color with a small white head. Aroma was mostly malts with some floral hops. There was a hint of skunkyness in its maltiness. Taste was crisp and smooth had a peppery hops taste too it Dickinsonbeer (3499), Hoboken, New Jersey, USA

Lots of malt flavor and aroma backed up by some noble hops. THis is loaded with flavor and has a moderate mouthfeel, unlike lots of american made pilsners which are bland and watery. | 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Nov 6, 2003 Golden colour. Slightly fruity (lime, mandarin) and this is probably from the Simcoe hops. Spritzy. Bready malt notes and crisp, moderate bitterness (~25 IBUs). Dry finish. Light body. A north German pils with PNW hops. SJP (483), Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Feb 15, 2003 Not too bad, a good crisp flavor. A lot of generic malt flavor that is a little much for my tastes, but not too offensive. I'd drink it again if I had to. muzzlehatch (4427), Burlington, Vermont, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Jun 15, 2002 Very light with almost no head; looks thin. Minimal, slightly sour/bitter nose; flavor more malty than hoppy (this is a Pils?), very smooth; smoothness also present in the finish. Very light fruitiness throughout; thirst-quenching and drinkable but not much of a Pils if you ask me. austinpowers (2828), New York, New York, USA
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 3/20 | Jun 7, 2002 An extremely malty pilsener that doesn’t have much aroma. Dry and crisp. Rather bitter in the German pilsener style. amx1970390 (466), Southampton, Pennsylvania, USA

Beutiful gold color. Not much to smell, but tastes is quite refreshing. michael-pollack (2733), King of Prussia, Pennsylvania, USA
