| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Feb 27, 2008 Pours a great red color. Malty aroma. Tasted starts out malty, gets hoppy in the middle and then sweet as it lingers on your tongue. A good beer, but nothing really makes it stand out from the pack. johnnysmoke (59), Texas, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 5/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Feb 26, 2008 This is another BOTM selection. I don’t run across red ales very often so my benchmarks are low. Has a malt aroma with nice carbonation and a great red color. Nice even head that drops relatively quick. Taste and hops open up once the chill is gone. Would like to taste on tap. thenick (746), North Bellmore, New York, USA
