Medium body with sweetish roasted malt, nuts and burned caramel. Also a slight touch of sweet licorice. Very subdued bitterness. An easy drink. 210908

Mar 3, 2009 Bottled@Bishops Arms Vasagatan, Stockholm. Rubyish amber colour, not much head. Aroma is a bit wnieous, caramelly, some fruityness as well as red berries, toffeeish and fresh wooden notes. Flavour is caramel malts, some berries, toffee and mild grassy, wooden and nutty notes. Quite biscuity in the finish.

Dec 11, 2007 Red-golden with a nice, creamy head. The aroma is slightly fruity with caramel, actually more like fruit-caramels. The flavour has the same fruit-caramels, notes of citrus/tangerine, malt and a long finish. The balance between malt and hops is quite charming. 2420

Nov 13, 2006 12oz bottle-pours a too big foamy(foamed on opening, best by 070306) light tan head and amber color. Aroma is sweet medium malt, faint hops. Taste is sweet medium malt, faint hop-bitterness, nutty. OK carbonation.

Nov 6, 2002 This beer rocks.
The commercial description and descriptions of other members will have to suffice as I took no notes while enjoying this brew at the Brickskeller in D.C. However, if you enjoy other Irish Ales that I have rated highly. You will not be disappointed with this one.
