thornecb (1065), Marblehead, Massachusetts, USA Aug 8, 2008 Pours gold into a shaker. Off-white head recedes to skim surface. Caramel and citrus aromas. Crisp and refreshing with smooth caramel malt upfront and a slight hop finish. Oakes (6853), Miami Beach, Florida, USA Jun 28, 2008 Golden-amber. Peachy with a hint of caramel. Fresh, peachy with a slight fruitness and light pale malt balance. Beershine (1214), Miami Beach, Florida, USA Jun 25, 2008 Light orange or warm golden color. Fresh orange fruity hops, nice. Balanced. Great crisp hop flavors. Smooth. kramer (1868), sunbury, Pennsylvania, USA Sep 21, 2007 12 oz bottle. Pours a clear yellow gold body under an enormous fizzy foamy white head that took forever to settle. The nose is fairly clean, yet fairly boring as well. Light hay and a touch of floral hops. The flavor is that same boring light pale malts with a touch of floral hops and a lingering doughy maltiness. Mouthfeel is lighter bodied with a watery texture and too much fizzy prickly carbonation. A lingering doughy stickiness remains. Overall, pretty boring and not especially pleasant. Immy (1559), Virginia Beach, Virginia, USA Aug 8, 2007 12 oz bottle from LooseCannon - thanks Ron! Best by 072007. Lightly hazed gold with a short lived white head. Grainy nose, a bit of grapefruit citrus. Lively mouthfeel, medium body. Lightly citrus flavors balanced pretty well by the grain and light caramel. Rather refreshing. I realize this is a "summer" beer, but with a bit more punch this could really be great! It grew on me until, at the bottom of the glass,, I actually wished I had another. Pretty well done!
