Sweet smell with just hint of lemon and maybe strawberry. Perfectly balance flavor and a crisp smooth finish. Beer had a heartier flavor than many summer ales but not at all overpowering. I couldn’t have asked for a better ale after mowing and weedwacking the yard.

Ok the beer poyrs a nice dark golden/lightish amber colour there is a very slight hint of haze..nice small white head that goes fast..leaving some excellent lacing.
Very fresh floral hop aroma is much evident..spicy even.
mmm nice swewet malts assault my taste buds first..then a nice spicyness then the hop bitterness..that l;ingers well done..different than the PNW pales i have tasted.
Nice tingling mouthful feels great on my tongue!
A most drinkable summer beer..one of the best I am sure. GTown (126), New York, USA

Full malty taste - mildly fruity like most English-inspired New England brews. Nice backing bitterness. Golden color and medium head. amx1970390 (466), Southampton, Pennsylvania, USA

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | May 10, 2003 A somewhat hazy deep orange to amber color with a modest head that dissipate quickly, frothy in texture, and a off color, the lace that resides is a fine thin sheet. Sweet malt nose, pineapple like aroma also noticed, fresh and clean a nice treat for the senses. Start is somewhat sweet, the top middling in its feel to the palate with a light to moderate acidity, the hops are delectable in their spiciness, dry linger aftertaste, a nice summer drink.
