Commercial Description:
This beer is named after one of Cashmere’s famous white water rapids on the Wenatchee river. This beer drinks very easy and will sneak up on you so be careful when drinking this beer! It has a strong malt sweetness with just a touch of hop at the end. It pours creamy with a nice rich foam head with a slight green apple taste at the end from the malt profile and of course the 8.6% ABV

On tap at Washington Brewers’ Fest 2009. Pours hazy reddish brown with a small beige head. Nose is nutty and sweet with grain, toffee, and a hint of citrus/grassy hops. Taste is more roasty malts and caramel. Medium bodied with a slightly bitter roasty finish.

NOTE: This beer is the first Imperial Amber I have heard or seen.
Central Eastern WA Road Trip - Cashmere Brewing Co – Cashmere, WA
Aroma: Big malt and lots of alcohol aroma. Hints of hops also linger.
Appearance: Dark Amber in color, Clear with a thin head.
Flavor: Strong malt flavor the alcohol is covered nicely which can lead to issues with the local pig. This was a big beer and has the backing to prove it.
Palate: Dry Finish, with a Good Mouthfeel.
Overall: Big beer is right this was huge and I loved the flavor. I will seek this beer all the time.
