A very smooth biere de garde, A bit thin, but not off-putting. A little bready and somewhat sweet and rather refreshing. Surprisingly not yeasty for a biere de garde...

Light orange color with small white head. Yesty, some hops, fruit, earthy, bready and kind of Belgian tasting. Refreshing.

(bottle - corked & caged 750 ml) Orange color with a fluffy white head. Aroma is sweet and tart with hints of earth, yeast, flowers, and lots of fruit. Flavor is much the same. Lots of sweet fruit and yeast notes begin with a mildly spicy flavor near the end. Very bready.

Bottle enjoyed on the outdoor patio at The Grand in Grand Haven, MI during the Fourth of July Fireworks show, ’09. Nice attractive orangish pour with fizzy head that emits a yeasty/fruity nose. The yeasty fruitiness predominates in flavor as well, along with some herbal hopping, spicy notes, and touches of bready sweet malt. Good...refreshing.

Bottle. Pours golden orange with an off white head. Light sweet malty aroma with some spicy hints and a light must. The flavor has a sweet malt base with some spicy and herbal notes. Pretty good.

Big Saaz aroma. Deceptively dry but with medium body. Very light flavors, only hints of spices and herbs on a french bread background. Finishes slightly herbal and cooling without bitterness.
