Pleasant, not terribly complex, not much of a finish. I liked it, but I would rather have a Hennepin. // Had it again, no head, flat, dull, and sort of skunky. It was well past its expiration date, and unlike a bigger beer it was certainly showing its age. Would not be fair to change the numbers. GuilTTy (538), Cherry Hill, New Jersey, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | May 23, 2005 Poured the color of a golden ripe apricot with a very airy tall white head. Tons of carbonation killed the head pretty quickly. Not much of an aroma save for some light yeast and a little citrus. Flavors of pale malt, bread, apple and citrus with just a hint of hoppy bitterness. Mouthfeel suffered a bit from the overwhelming carbonation. Finish was crisp. Overall, a refreshing but underwhelming ale. bu11zeye (5608), Frisco, Texas, USA
