Nov 17, 2004 Sunshine on a winter night. A contradiction in terms to say the least, but, there it was. Who are we to question norms when we don’t know if we’re even alive or a dream in the mind of an alien bug? Is this cool breeze another figment of another consciousness? This lemon grove? This field of grass? The golden blonde hair of my companion? I may never know... but I doubt I’ll ever care.

Sep 3, 2004 Pours an amber/golden color with a thick, fluffy white head, light effervescence and a slippery lace. The aroma is fruity, bubblegum, fresh and lightly grassy, and a little astringent. It is medium bodied, creamy, lightly sweet with some CO2. Finishes crisply and has a lingering hop bitterness that creeps up on you. A well-balanced beer with pleasant, subtle, characteristics- the best Saison I have tried to date.

Aug 30, 2004 Big bottle. Rich golden brew, straight clean taste, more of a super lager than an ale. I’m missing the grass and pepper that comes through so well in Heavyweight’s Biere D’Art. Next up is 3 Monts.

Aug 19, 2004 Bottle pours a gold color with a white head and no lace. The aroma is yeasty and slightly floral. The flavor is rather understated, somewhat fruity, a minor hint of hops that linger, and overall clean. The palate is refreshing. Overall, this is good at the table with chicken. There are better examples, but this one is OK.

Aug 13, 2004 Poured a nice golden amber with a thick white head. Fruit and citrus on the nose. Light bodied. Banana, citrus fruits, and yeast on the tongue, along with a mild hint of hops. Dry hop finish. Not the best in its style, but it was still a refreshing beer.

Golden/peach color..nice white head..fresh aroma:notes of citrus, bananas, vanilla. Medium body, great finish, lovely feeling that sticks with you--soft and sensual, perfectly refreshing!

May 24, 2004 Clear golden colour with a large white head. Aroma is spiced and yeasty with grassy hoppiness. Taste is lightly sweet, lightly spiced with a barnyard character.
