| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jan 5, 2007 Hmm, pours yellow/blonde with lots and lots of floaties and a thin white head. Berries and acidity dominate the aroma. The flavor was far to corn syrupy, lots of sweet malt, little acidity and a little fruit. Man, after the Oro De Calabaza, I was expecting something far better than this from a biere de garde. Juelze (922), Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA

Complex with floral notes, grassy qualities and a solid light malt underpinning, yet emminently balanced and drinkable. Very soft silky mouthfeel made it easy to put away. A session beer at 5.9%. Beautiful deep clear golden yellow with a thick rocky white, she was a looker as well. Near perfect.
