Jan 13, 2008 Red amber and heaped with froth. Waxy, nutty, grainy aroma in the manner of a Mediterranean interpretation of a ’red’/amber ale. Flavour fuller, and quite a pleasant balance of caramelised malt nuttiness, bread, cherry and pear.

Dec 11, 2007 75 cl bottle. The head is nice and golden, but not very lasting. The color is truly amazing, just like liquid amber. The aroma is malty and the mouthfeel is kind of round and prickly. The flavour is kind of apple juice-like at first, but then I get notes of candy sugar and sweetness. The finish is both sweet, a bit acidic, a bit bitter and it has a burnt note of apples.

Nov 26, 2007 Bottle: Poured a amber color with a huge off white color carbonated head. Aroma is sweet with caramel and malt. Flavor is burnt malt with a bit of that herbal taste to it. Finish was sugary caramel.
