Commercial Description:

Bottle, 25 cl. Amber-brown color, with medium beige head. Aroma caramel, malts, sweet. Medium bodyy. Taste malts, bit caramel, very little spice, and bit yeast. Very regular amber beer.

Bottle from Intermarche, Nr Boulogne, France. Orange amber with an off white head. Sweet date malt aroma. The taste is spicy, yeasty caramel with a sharp bitter finish. Easy drinking brew, but you feel slightly let down. Something is missing.

Bottle sampled. Pours a hazy amber with a large beige head. Aroma of caramel, fruit, and spices. The flavor is sweet, honey, fruit, caramel, spices, with a bitter finish.

75cl bottle. Amber colour, large head. Pleasant aroma of malt, although the beer is more hoppy than malty. Lovelly flowery hops. Spicy, hints of caramel.

Bottle (750ml): Clear, amber coloured, small creamy off-white head, fruity and (a bit toasted) malty-nutty nose; mild sweet-bitter flavour, medium bodied, soft MF; soft malty-fruity finish with a touch of bisquits. Pleasant drink........

Not bad. It might be a little oxidized, but only a little bit. Aroma has yeast as well. Flavor is a balance of sweet malt like a dark Belgian ale with yeast and light spice. Cloudy, light brown appearance with some sediment. These Ch’ti beers aren’t bad, but far too expensive. I only paid $5 for this and it is a good value at that price.
