| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Feb 3, 2007 Pours a dark amber color (duh) with a thin head. Strong sugary aroma and a way thicker malt hit than I expected from a Biere de Garde. Unfortunately, the taste did not live up to the invitation. It’s a very watery mess of weak malt and nothing else. Sad. vanvenlo (794), Glen Iris, Australia
