It had a sweet malt hop amber ale aroma. The mouth feel was mildly tingly mildly vinous at the start and mellowed in the finish with a caramel mild flavor. harrisoni (6830), Ashford, Kent, England

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Oct 29, 2005 Corked and caged bottle. Large off-white fizzy head that was mostly lasting, fine-small sized bubbles, poor lacing, transparent, carbonated, and an orange hue. Malty, caramel, sweet aroma and ditto for the flavor. Smooth, thin palate. Light-medium body. maeib (4766), Wootton, Northampton, Northamptonshire, England
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Oct 25, 2005 Bottled. A chestnut coloured beer with a reasonabl white head. The aroma is sweet and malty with Christmas cake and alcohol. The taste is also sweet and malty, brown berry fruits such as raisins come through. However there is a spoiling sickly vomit feel in the finish which is a shame. KarmanGhia (276), Tallahassee, Florida, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Sep 25, 2005 This pours a nice amber with an offwhite head. The mouthfeel is thin, but the palate is large and complex with perhaps a bit of a strawberry sweetness (present in the nose as well). This beer is neither syrupy nor overcarbonated/salty like many of the beers in France which gives it a moderate niche. Magicdave6 (5558), London, Greater London, England
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Sep 8, 2005 Big supprise here. Aroma is fruity and fresh slightly sweet. Taste is not as complex but similar, very easy to drink though im not a big fan of carbonmation in beers and normally swirl beers till they are flat. Good to know u can get a bottle for £2:50 just down the road! HenrikSoegaard (4393), Randers, Denmark

| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Aug 16, 2005 Bottle from Asda. Clear amber brown with dissipating head. No yeast. Rough, malty, diacetyl aroma. Acidic, metallic finish. I didn’t enjoy this very much at all, I’m afraid.
