| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Jan 13, 2008 At last a French witbier with some genuine character that doesn’t taste revoltingly synthetic. Milky lemony haze heaped with froth and lace. Aroma standard orange peel and crushed coriander seed, with a sourish wheaty edge, and some alcohol. Lemony and peppery with hints of grain, booze and cardboard, and a background whiskeyish note. Impressively full-bodied, natural-tasting witbier/blanche. | 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Oct 31, 2007 Sold at Tesco Finest French Wheat Beer. 750 ml bottle, corked and caged. Cloudy pale yellow beer. Very thick fluffy white head. Aroma is very wheaty with light lemon/orange citrus, soft fruit and a touch of dustiness. Palate is surprisingly watery, but has a light citrusy character. A bit of soft spicy flavour. Light coriander and orange. Lingering wheatiness and spice. It’s a decent wit, but not a great one. stegosaurus (1882), Levittown, Pennsylvania, USA

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Aug 18, 2007 bottle, bought at the Eurotunnel terminal. Pale yellow, cloudy, large head. Aroma of cinnamon. Cinnamon is present in the flavour, too, together with other spices (e.g. coriander) and hints of citrus fruit. Spicy and pleasantly hopped finish and a touch of mint in the aftretaste. Very refreshing and full of fascinating herbal flavours. asedzie (457), San Francisco, California, USA
| 1.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 3/5 | 6/20 | Jul 26, 2007 Bottle. Pours hazy yellowish with moderate white head. Weird tequila-like (?!) aroma. Flavor is grainy with an unpleasant dusty taste. Also lightly sour citrus flavors. A bad bottle? FatPhil (3483), Espoo, Finland

Pale yellow, pretty lively - feeds a large light head. Light on the tongue, slight citrus acidity. Coriander and slightly yeasty taste. Very refreshing on a hot summer day.
