Bottled at Monk’s Café, Stockholm. Hazy pale yellow, rich head. Fairly sweet and light bodied with spritzy mouthfeel. Some freshening light citrus, but the flavour is well light, resulting in an almost thn mouthfeel and a light metallic touch. Still it works as a very light refreshing summer quencher, sort of Hogaarden light.

Bottled 06-05. Pours a pale golden color with lots of effervescence and a hazy appearance. Head is fairly small, white, and fizzy with most of it diminishing somewhat quickly. Nose is not bad with a tart souness of lemon, dust, yeast, and wheat with a house character. Taste is very similar with a slightly tart lemon sourness, dust, yeast, and lightly of esters. Palate is light to medium, moderate cabonation, and a slick feel. Finishes with lemon sourness, some bitterness, and a soapy note. Not too bad at first, but kind of hard to drink after a few drinks. Interesting interpretation of the style but not really a good one.

Poured a light pale yellow gold, some white bubbles but they disappeared quickly, looks like lots of forced carbonation? light scent of a pale ale, I have had some pale ales that had more of a scent, little taste for a pale ale to, disappointing, light citrus lemon taste, a pinch of wheat in the mouth, not much to write home about here, thin mouth feel, could be a thirst quincher on a hot day but I can find other beers that taste better then this to mow my lawn with, this was like drinking a soda only less.

As Tescos Finest French Wheat Beer. LIght aromas of wheat, yeast and spice. Hazy lemon color with ferocious white head that laces. Starts with lemon, yeast spice, passes to a papery taste which passes quickly, ending with a hint of herb, and some hop bitterness. Definitely a dry finish.

750m Bottle. Cork couldn’t wait to get out of the bottle. Slightly hazy, straw coloured body with a decent head and rings of lacing. Soft spices on the nose and some lemon in the taste although it falls away pretty quickly, even a little watery. Easily drinkable though not very memorable or very refreshing.

Bottle -Tesco finist... Its mild aroma is a bad omen of what’s to come. Initially promising on the palate with its citrus and corriandar notes, but this vanishes all to quickly leaving a bland short lived finish. Not worth having twice.

Pours a hazy straw color, very briefly topped by an eighth of an inch of white foam. No real head retention to speak of - unless you consider a thin film head retention. Scant webby lacing. Mild sweetened lemon in the aroma. Wheat beer tang combines with lemon meringue. Tart sweet and enticing. Quite mild and somewhat flowery. Dry finish with a touch of salt. Salt? Light body, light carbonation. Good beer but lacking oomph.

Bottled as Tesco Finest thought the strength said 5% but I may be wrong on that point. This beer poured very cloudy and looked a golden/orange colour with moderate carbonation.Aroma was wheaty and a bit citrusy, taste was crisp, wheaty again some bananeyness ’if there’s such a word’ but not that impressive. I left some of this as I just got a bit fed up with it.
