| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jun 3, 2006 Aroma is a little fruity slight yeast. Appearance is a slight cloudy orange/yellow. Head is mostly diminishing with a little lacing. Must be a little bitter as the flavor hits the back of the tongue, it’s little creamy with slight carbonation, not much in flavor but not bad. | 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Mar 31, 2006 Unwittingly left this one until last as I’m not too keen on blonde’s at the best of times!!! Surprised, as it was easily the best off the Ch’ti lot, which is honestly not something to brag about. Poured into it’s own chalice, a treacly looking sunny ’blonde’ with very fine, wispy carbonation raising to a creamy, thick-set white head that left some good lacing. Sweet candi, zesty oranges, apples, pine-nuts and a touch of spicy alcohol made up the aroma. Enticing. Quite fresh, sweet and fruity in the mouth. Light in body and a little oily but generally smooth on the tongue. Subtle in flavour as to not stray too far from the other Ch’ti beers; light notes of honey, orange and mango concentrates, rock candi and some peppery spice that liven it up a little. Finish is disappointingly short but fresh and remains that way even as it warms. Not bad, no off-flavours like the others so I’d have to say this was a sessionable little number. Easy drinking. | 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Feb 11, 2006 Bottled. Nice creamy head. Yellow beer. This beer reminds me more of a pale lager than a blonde. And it would have been an awesome pale lager, but as a blonde it lacks the complex tastes of that style. A smooth beer. maeib (4766), Wootton, Northampton, Northamptonshire, England
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Feb 6, 2006 Bottled. A straw blonde coloured beer which pours with anice white head. The aroma is sweet and a little buttery. There may be a little toffee or diacetyl lurking in the background. the taste is sweet and a little syrupy. Quite perfumed or cleaning product notes in the taste over a sticky sweetness. Not very enjoyable and a little bit of a chore to drink the whole 75cl. sunevdj (1785), Copenhagen OE, Denmark
