| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Aug 18, 2005 750 ml bottle, corked "champagne" style, bought in Denmark. Pale golden colour, like a pilsener. Enormous and lingering fluffy white head, leaves a nice lacing. Delicate yeasty aroma with notes of grass, flowers and honey. Pleasant mild flavour with a certain spicyness and decent hops, but light bodied for its 6.4% ABV. Well balanced and "dangerously drinkable". Papsoe (15107), Frederiksberg, Denmark

| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Mar 31, 2005 i dumped the beer from it’s pretty 500 ml. can into a suitable vessel where it bubbled like a sudsy bath with a brief cottony head. true to it’s blonde designation, it’s as yellow as "blondie’s" hair in the comic strip, though it telegraphed it’s mediocrity with obvious visual thinness. the head was too soon brain dead and could only be sustained on life support. the beer has a distinctly lager-like aroma with grassy malts, celophane, and corn husk, but expanded a bit with bell pepper, yeast, golden raisins, butterscotch and dried banana chips. disappointingly thin, a watery feel to a sweet lager taste. soft carbonation, sugar cookie flavor, pear and a vague sour note of lemon, and an afterthought of bitterness. i toted this sucker back from france through four airports. mon dieu, que j’ai trompe´! irishsnake (353), Oakland, California, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Mar 31, 2005 beer pours a lightly hazed, brassy color with a small white head that retains well and laces OK. aroma is malt and spicy, with notes of caramel, phenols and some fruit (apple?). flavor is much the same, with spicy and malty notes most prominent up front, with adequate bitterness following. well balanced and easy to drink.
