Pours deep brown with a big, creamy, slightly off-white head. Aroma is sweet, lightly roasted, some dark dried fruits and strawberry notes. High carbonation - a little light in mouthfeel. Flavour is sticky sugary sweet, weakly roasted with some chocolate and caramel. Light metallic off-flavours.

Jul 13, 2008 Bottle@Home. Roasted malts aroma. Dark brown color, beige head, good lace. Sweet, light bitter, roasted, licorice, burnt sugar, laurel. Flavorful, well brewed, not exceptional.

Jun 11, 2008 Bottle. Frothy lightbrown excellent mostly lasting head. Dark brown colour. Moderate malty very roasted aroma. Moderate bitter flavor. Nice roasted chocolate notes. Moderate bitter long finish. Creamy palate. Good stuff.
