Dark brown color, unclear. Has a beige head, medium lasting. Dark, malty notes. A little lactic note in both aroma and flavor. Flavor is mostly sweet. Medium body.

Bottle. Dark red / brown color with a large good lacing light brown head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty and yeasty, suger / syrup. Flavor is heavy sweet and light bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

Bottle. Nice brown colour with a good lasting light brown head. Malty and bit caramellic aroma with some spices. Soft flavour of caramel, roasted malts, spices, liquorice, raisins and prunes. Bit thin brew but still tasty.

Pours dark reddish brown with a large irregular head. Lots of head with each re-pour (my glass was too small). Floral and fruity aroma, very smooth yeasty apple flavour. Excellent brune.

(Bottle 65 cl) Pours a beautiful, clear mahogany with a warm, reddish glow and a small, creamy, beige head. Quite full-bodied with rich, hard roasted and sweet malts. Accents of burned caramel and licorice and a wee hint of metal. No real bitterness. Lovely and very christmasy. 261206

Merry Xmas! Deep dark ruby body with a large light tan head. Some cinnamon on the nose, also some liquorice and hints of dark fruits. Smooth taste that is a bit thin, metallic, rich chocolate notes and hardly notice the alcohol except for a slight warming on the finish.

Bottle. Pours dark brown with light brown mostly lasting head. Aroma offers coffee, burnt malt and a little metallic note. Flavor adds a little sweetness and anis. Average finish. Well made beer, but have had better Biere de Garde.
