Commercial Description:

Bottle 75 cl. Courtesy of MiP. Pours a clear deep golden with an off-white head. Sweetish malty nose. Quite full-bodied with a solid malt base and a rather subdued bitterness. Some alcohol in the finish. 220809

500ml can from Carrefour, Calais. Gold colour with thick lasting off white head. This has won awards apparently. It also says on the list of ingredients that it has some "wheat based glucose syrup." Perhaps that is why it is a bit hazy, it would certainly explain why it is too sweet. It’s a bit thick and creamy in the mouth too. Bland. No sharpness to this. Just a sweet sugary mass of cereal. No real hop presence. Along with the 33 Export I had before this, possibly my worst night of beer I’ve ever had. I think I have reached rock bottom in trying to find new beers. Now I wonder if I could buy a couple more and take them to the RBESG in Plsen......

The color is yellow-golden and the head is white. The aroma has notes of malt, fruit and a little sweetness. The flavor has sweetness and notes of malt, fruit and light citrus in the dryish finish. Not very complex.
