(tasting at Solano Cellars 07/25/09) Good head. Sweet aroma, almost cherry-like. Orange body. Malty flavor. One of my favorites from the tasting we did.

Aroma of fresh apples with a somewhat floral presence. Appearance was golden red with a big frothy head. Flavor reminded me much of champagne with apples and white grape. Palate was fizzy and bubbly. A nice refreshing beer that is under-appreciated for it’s pastoral charm.

750ml bottle from bevmo. Pours a medium copper color with a 1 finger thick beige head, light lacing. Nose of candoed dark fruits and toasted malts. Flavor was very similar to the nose, decent brew.

Bottle. Pours light copper with a beige head. Sweet malty aroma with caramel, a bit of sweet fruits and spices. The flavor has sweet malts, fleshy fruits, light spices, and herbal notes. Nice.

Cherry and butterscotch aromas. Cotton candy malty with slight wood and very light body. Finishes with roasted cashews, ocean wind and very mild sourness.

From a 750 c&c bottle this poured a very clear copper with a nice white head and light lacing. Nose of caramel hops and fruit. Medium mouthfeel. Flavor is of citrus and fruit, and the finish is dry.

Bottle. Semi-tart musty aroma, very mild. Beautiful cloudy deep orange-amber body, fluffy beige head. Flavor is extremely mild, not much of an impression, except for some nice maltiness in the finish. If this beer tasted as good as it looks, it would be fantastic. As it is, somewhat of a disappointment.

Buttery and mildly spicy. An extremely drinkable beer that really reminds me of half way between an ale and a lager. Good, not great.
