This beer is very drinkable yet it has off flavor. The aroma has got a hazelnut like aroma the taste is smooth with mild malts. the after-taste feels a bit medicinal. give it a try.

The aroma is nice but weak for this style. It has caramel malt, toast, and nuts. The appearance is amber with a three finger head. The flavor is like the aroma and is tasty but watery and weak. The palate is thin. Overall it’s a nice easy drinking beer but not a very good representative of the style.

Bottle. Poured hazy copper with an average fizzy white head that mostly diminished with fair lacing. Moderate swet tart citrus aroma. Light to medium body with soft carbonation. Medium citrus sweet flavor with a medium sweet finish of moderate duration.

Pours a nice copper red, very effervescent, and producing about 3/4 inch of tan suds. Good head retention and webby lacing. Sweet caramel apple and even sugary in the aroma. The flavor is a blend of sweet and tart, but the sweet wins out. Fruit, caramel malt, and candi sugar at first. A lightly tart herbal flavor comes in briefly after that. Candi sugar, apple, tea, and herbal hops in the finish. Lightish body, sparly carbonation. Interesting beer, but just a little too sweet for my taste.

Clear sparkly golden. Fruity and refreshing but overall a bit plain. Nothing sets it out a special.

Bottle, BB 04/07. Head is initially large, frothy, off-white, mostly lasting. Body is clear medium amber. Aroma is lightly to moderately malty (cookie, caramel), lightly hoppy (flowers), lightly yeasty (cobwebs), with notes of peach and honey. Flavor is lightly to moderately sweet, lightly acidic, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly sweet, lightly acidic, lightly to moderately bitter. Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. Different than ChTi Ambree? Maybe. The only thing I know is that this new bottle of St. Amand (which just appeared in this state) was much better than the one bottle of ChTi Ambree I tried when it also had just hit the shelves here. Could just be a very inconsistent brewery though.

750. Beer is medium-dark hued, brown colored with a large, frothy, white, dissipating but mostly lasting head.
The aroma is pointy in some weird places and a bit "off" smelling. It’s malty with light notes of toasted grain, caramel; Hoppy with a moderate note of lemon zest, trace of dried apricot, iced tea; Yeasty with a light note of dank basement, moderate notes of barnyard, horse blanket; Trace miscellaneous note of smokey wet cardboard.
The flavor is lightly sweet, lightly acidic with a short, lightly sweet finish with a moderately barby alcoholic finish.
The body is light, the texture is watery and the carbonation is soft.
Overall, not really the bees knees, but it’s fine.
