Bottle - 330ml. Golden body with a thick, diminishing white foamy head. Its thin malty/hoppy aroma carries heavy wet Azurri shirt hints. Bland watery taste ends with a short, bad metallic finish. Useless.

Pale yellow color. The light aroma is of malt. The body is thin. The lethargic and insufficient taste.

11.2 ounce bottle - $1.49 at Total Wine & More in Kennesaw, Georgia. Best Before End: 07.2010. Appearance: Pours a clear, yellow body with a bubbly, thinning, white head. A typical lager thus far. Smell: Sweet-scented, humble malted barley disparaged by displeasing, particularly strong scents of skunk and filthy, well-used coinage. Taste: Light pale malts, lightly grainy and sweet. Light, spicy hop character and bitterness. Regrettably, you get a strong skunkiness and metallic twang forced upon you. It’s pretty gross, and this well over eight months before the expiration date. Jesus, I’d hate to see how this stuff is past its prime. Finishes dry with the only tastes lasting this long being the bad ones. Mouthfeel: Light-bodied. Medium-plus carbonation. Drinkability: Some pale lagers are simply guilty of being bland and forgettable. Oh, if only that were the case here! This one’s ghastly and just plain awful.

Pale golden of color with a small white head. An aroma of cocked vegetables and weak bitternes. A flavor of malt, metallic and weak bitternes.

Bottle. As ‘Castello Premium’. Pours a clear straw yellow with a small white head. Metallic, grassy, cereal, hop aroma. Flavour is dry and dusty with notes of stale bread. Same finish. Meh. 26-09-09.

Good dry aroma. This is pretty light but a nice dry flavor, pretty easy drinking and tasty. Easy summer beer.

Bottle from Jamies, Italian Restaurant, Oxford, 24-09-09 Pours gold with white head and much like the previous pale lager Messina that I had at this establishment the only things that really stood about it was how stunningly mediocre it was. Maltier that the Mesina, with graininess showing, its just ok, no more no less. A4 A3 F5 P3 Ov9 2.4
