Canned. pale yllow in colour. Foamy white head. It has a somewhat repulsive aroma. It’s malty with a barnyardish scent. The flavour is watery and kinda metallic. Thanks to "Dorqui" for this one.

Canned. Golden colour, small white head. Barnyard in aroma, along with hops. Flavour is diacetylic, paprery and skunked hops. Unpleasantly sweet. Mouthdrying, yet the palate is watery.

Made an average lager appearance, poured a clear golden with a foamy head that settled into a thin, sudsy lacing, good carbonation. Had a nose of spicy hops, lemon grassy and a sweet grainy, bready maltiness. A crisp and smooth light bodied mouthfeel, above average pale lager drinkability. Dry grain bready with a light lemon grassy taste, spicy as well and a dry sweet bready and grassy finish. Better than I was expecting, a decent Euro Pale Lager.

"Castello di Bionda," bottle matches "Blond Castle Beer" on the brewer’s website. However, the color seemed darker than golden in my plastic party cup, more like orange. Anyway, enough of the appearance confusion for this swill. The aroma was of bread and cardboard. The flavor was bready and caramel malts, not light golden or pils type malts. Either way, this wasn’t a good beer.

To repeat what I said for the other Italian beer just rated, I’m Italian descent and proud of it. I love being Italian. We make great food, great wine, great art, great music, and great love. But lousy beer with a few exceptions. This isn’t one of them, either. Worse than Forst. Pale amber with a ho-hum white head. Grassy hops, malt, yard clippings. Medium body. Bitter and dry. Not very palatable.

Bottle. Sweet-sour malt aroma. Golden yellow with small head. Slight sour corn/barley malt flavor. Not much body. Pretty standard pale lager.

Moderate malty (cereals) and light hops aroma; sour notes. Clear yellow colour with a tiny white head quickly disappearing; large bubbles. A sweet malty flavour between moderate and intense, together with a moderate bitterness go towards a sweet finish. Non great; OK for a sandwich or in a sunny day.

a strange sweet, and yet unpleasant aroma. Lots of malts yet very little hops. Drinkable enough
