Strong malt aroma. Copper colour with a thin white lace. Quite lively. Strong malt flavour and a little earthy.

Bottle. Caramel malt, cherry aroma with light astringency. Reddish brown color with small head. Sweet caramel malt and prune flavor with light astringent flavor. Almost a carbon copy of Birra Moretti Rossa but lighter.

Bottiglia 33cl comprata alla Dico, "Birra Castello Rossa"; il colore è bellissimo è proprio rossa rossa, però le qualità organolettiche mi fanno preferire una gazzosa.

Bottle, graciously provided by Omhper. Plums, soy and sweet malts. Rich body, some bitterness. Dark amber appearance. Alcohol is present and warming. Fairly average.

Bottled (6.5%). Deep amber colour, mediumsized white head. Aroma is caramel malts, some rye and mild notes of dry fruits. Flavour is sweet malts, some raisins and a bit glueishness (probably alcohol). Yet in a good balance.

Bottled, courtesy of omhper. Pours out in a clear brown colour with a low white foam. No visible carbonation. A bit stale aroma of fudge, caramel and nuts with metallic undertones. Malty sweet flavour fudge, milky chocolate and caramel with touches of metal. Low bitterness accents of sweet chocolate.
