| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Nov 9, 2009 A really refreshing pale lager from South Africa no less. Nothing offensive, even after it warms up a little. Suprised. Aroma was subtle sweet malts, very hard to detect. Does the lack of any aroma, good or bad make it bad? I didn’t mind it with this style, but that’s just me. Flavor has some light malts, just a tad sweet but mostly just a clean malt bill. Easy to suck it down, but didn’t really make an impression on me other than it was as quenching as a glass of ice water. Skinnyviking (4170), Copenhagen, Denmark
| 1.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 5/20 | Oct 16, 2009 Bottle. Medium high fluffy but lasting white head. Clear yellow body. As far as I can judge there is a distant sweet barley malt aroma. Weak and sweet barley malt flavor with corn and little hops bitterness. Watery and boring. Low carbonation, short aftertaste. | 1.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 4/20 | Sep 22, 2009 Can: Poured a super pale yellow color lager with a medium size pale white foamy head with minimal retention and not much lacing. Aroma of corn adjunct with lingering sweetness. Taste is also dominated by weal malt profile and some adjunct. Body is thin with good carbonation. Nothing too exciting here. peter (385), Dallas, Texas, USA

| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Aug 26, 2009 My first and only South African beer to date. The can says "The great South African beer". I’d say it is hardly great, just okay. Pretty much your garden-variety lager. In fact, I don’t recall all that much about it, having drunk it a couple of months back (just found the empty today in the garage). cheeta (904), Langå, Denmark
