| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Nov 9, 2009 Can, in Vietnam. Pours pitch black with a tan head that dissipates pretty fast. Aroma is rich with chocolate and toasted barley, and smells like Horlicks or Ovaltine. Medium carbonation and a medium body. Pretty quaffable. Flavors are straight and delicious with lots of mocha. Slight mineral water and lactic acid emerge late in the finish. Good balance of sweet and bitter. Better than expected. sfhodense (575), Odense NØ, Denmark

Sweet with roasting; lacking complexity. Full body, but flavor is not much to speak of, really. Uninteresting, though drinkable.

Some early notes of cocoa then roasted notes in the aroma. Similar in the taste, low to medium body, pretty straight forward and easy to drink. peter (385), Dallas, Texas, USA

Can was discolored and dented but the beer seemed fine. Nice milk stout, good fullness in the body with a slightly sweet roasted flavour.

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jul 27, 2009 Beer has a milky foamy head and a black body, little bubble coming up too. Aroma is just some scent of cardboard and alcohol, with a little hint of milk it would seem. Flavour is very smooth and crisp taste, milkiness as the bottle mentions. Great for quaffing but lacking in complexity. Overall a good stout with a unique milk flavour that doesn’t seem forced. Gurst (338), Ann Arbor, Michigan, USA

Light chocolate, medium burnt toast flavor. Not very hoppy. There is a nice creamy texture and lactose sweetness. Weak finish.
