Hand pulled at The Gateway, Leicester (during RB Leicester crawl). Ahh, here we are on the downhill section of the crawl, down to 3 participants, and edging nearer to chucking-out time. Golden beer, no head. Good beer, right out of nowhere! Smooth, balanced and clean. A good, big hop flavour to finish. Deserves reward for it’s excellent balance, which this brewery seems to have mastered.

Cask handpump at the Swan in the Rushes, Loughborough. Golden colour with a creamy white head and good lacing. Dry, hoppy and fruity. Refreshing and very drinkable.

A fairly typical golden ale. Fresh, crisp and clean, ith a noticeable citric hop presence. The finish, however, is a little on the soft side. Fairly straightforward, but pleasant enough. Cask (handpump), Gateway, Leicester (RB pub crawl).
