Derby Winter Fest 05. Golden bronze with a white head. Aromas are sulphur, spice and hops. Flavours are soft buttery malts with a good level of bitterness. Quite light in flavour with some biscuit. Fairly green in its hopping. A good session beer.

Cask conditioned & on handpump at the Derby CAMRA beer fest, on 12/02/05. Mid straw / amber brown. Nicely dry & hoppy. A great bitter hit in the aftertaste, very nice tang to it.

Cask at Alexandra Hotel, Derby. Light custard looking, decent slurpy white head, reasonable bitterness with some hopped crunch. Just a tad plain for me but still competent.
