Sep 21, 2008 (draft) Clear amber body with beige head. Aroma is medium sweet, orange, light bread. Taste is medium sweet, orange/grapefruit, some earthy, light peach. Light-medium body, some acidity.

Sep 8, 2008 Bottle at the Bier Garden in Asheville. Cloudy copper pour with t in white head. Grassy citrus aroma. Malty body with a bitter earthy hop balance. Not as balanced as I would have liked. Finishes clean with no bitterness in the finish. Decent.

Aug 18, 2008 On tap. Amber with a good size head. Aroma of floral and spicey hops. Lingering bitterness. More like a pale ale to me.

Aug 3, 2008 Shared with me by DrBayern (Thanks Matt). Poured a nice coppery orange, forming medium foamy head. Aroma of grassy hops, floral spices and ocean water. The flavour was of the same, finishing with a nice malty character.

Jul 26, 2008 On tap at Ruby’s in Asheville. Light copper/amber pour; almost no head. Grainy and metallic hoppy nose; similar on the tongue, with quite a bit of bite. Didn’t seem super fresh. Okay, but not great.

Jun 24, 2008 Compliments of DrBayern. Came in a growler from Brusin’ Ales in Asheville! Poured with a healthy head that remained through the drink. Nice floral hops aroma started my mouth watering.
Nice mouth feel as the bitterness hit. Nice spice on the finish.
A very good IPA that was very drinkable! Wish we had more!

Jun 23, 2008 Growler from Bruisin’ ales on 6/23/08, shared with Doboy and another friend.
Aroma - Floral and spcy hops, some grainy, grassy notes, and finally a little toffee.
Appearance - Clear orange, healthy off white head with some decent staying power.
Flavor - Bitterness comes on quickly over a quality malt backbone. Lengthy dry and spicy finish.
Palate - Medium body and carbonation, clean palate.
Overall - Fairly bitter example of a cross between an English and American IPA. Aassertive hopping from the standpoint of bitterness.

Jan 20, 2008 Tap @ Barleys Taproom Asheville, NC. Pours a clear copper with a one finger off-white head that leaves good lacing. Aroma of floral & earthy hops, sweet malt, and light caramel. Taste is the same as aroma. Medium mouthfeel with a moderate amount of bitterness and dry crisp finish. Very good.
