Draught at Mellow Mushroom in Asheville, NC. Opaque black with thin off white head. Roasty nose with a hint of wet dog. Strong raosty flavor that lingers....still going....still going. Dry as a bone. Pretty good stout despite the wet dog thing.

draught. Pours black with a khaki head. There’s coffee and cream in the aroma with some bittering hops. Sturdy, roasty coffee in the mouth, some waxy chocolate, toffee, and a bit of sourness in the finish.

On tap at Barley’s Taphouse in Asheville. Black in color. Smells burnt. Fresh coffee aroma. Yum! Sweet flavor, light in body. Low in hops.

Sampled at Charlotte Oktoberfest ’04. Pitch black with medium tan head. Chocolatey aroma with mild chocolate flavor with some espresso thrown in as well. Good stout.

This is an all organic stout. The head is not all that impressive. The taste is great, very original. It is the most common brew in my keggerator.

A basic stout. Deep dark color with a thin creamy head. Some light coffee aroma. Kind of dry taste, somewhat watered down. Not very impressed with this at all. The Highland Stout is much better.

Roasty coffee aroma and creamy looking head. Creamy tasting too. Nice light stout, liittle on the dry side, creaminess is prevalent at beginning and end. Good beer.
