Hazed orange pour with white head and lace. Aroma of pumpkin pie spice. Pumpkin pie flavor with a large finish of clove. Medium bodied with foamy carbonation. Not a bad beer at all.

Draft at Barley’s in Asheville. Really clovey, giving it a pretty rich flavor and making for a slow drinker. But otherwise, a really nice pumpkin loaded with flavor that I really enjoyed. Strong recommendation to try, although you may be satisfied with just one.

This beer is really great for the first couple of sips. Taste like a liquified pumpkin pie with a nice spicy kick. Very flavorful and the pumpkin smell is great. But the beer gets old fast and is too sweet to enjoy more than one and getting thru the first one was a challenge for me because it was just too damn sweet.

On tap @ Asheville Pizza. Deep copper color. Flavor is a very perfumy, Yankee Candle Co. of cinnamon, Big Red aroma taste. A hint of squash. Lots of cinnamon. Finishes with an ’Already Been Chewed’ Big Red sweetness. Aroma of loads of nutmeg and loads of cinnamon.

Draft sample at KBJ 2009. Poured a orange color with an average fizzy white head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate to heavy spicy tart pumpkin aroma. Medium to full body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium to heavy spice and pumpkin sweet flavor with a medium sweet finish of moderate duration. Good seasonal beer.

Sampled at the 13th Annual Knoxville Brewer’s Jam. Amber red, beige cover. Aroma is all spice, caramel. Taste is more spice, cinnamon, caramel, bready, too much spice overwhelms.

On tap. Poured a clear orange/amber color with a small off white head. Aroma of spices and pumpkin, with caramel notes. Flavor was heavy pumpkin, with a slight bit of spice.

On tap at Barley’s Taproom in Asheville. I think everyone about summed this up pretty well below, but I would like to add that my first impression was "chai tea". Very good pumpkin ale.
