The aroma is strong coriander and tangerine, some zest and bread. The flavor is lemony with coriander, light toast, earth and chamomile. The finish is very herbal, almost like tea. I actually kinda liked this one.

| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Jun 5, 2009 on tap @ Knights. The beer selection in Johnson City is suddenly getting pretty decent. Pours a cloudy, very light yellow with a good head. Man, this is one wheaty beer. The aroma is pure grains, wheat, cereal with just the lightest citrus note. Lots and lots of wood, hay, and wheat make up the flavor. It just lingers on my palate forever. Reasonable, I guess. Not something I really expect from a wheat beer. I’d enjoy more esters. | 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | May 22, 2009 On draft at mellowmushroom in asheville. Pours a hazy dull yellow with thin ring of bright white head and minimal lacing. Nose of lemon peel citrus and wheat. Flavor is not quite as good. There is a lingering lemon bitterness, does this have rye in it? Cool name, but on the down side of average. kp (8500), Woodstock, Georgia, USA

Citrusy at first, with a grainy, Cheerio-like background. Some corn notes, some orange notes, and a touch of vanilla as it warms. Pretty enjoyable.
