Poured clear fizzy yellow with a small fizzy, white head which dropped like a rock. Aroma actually reminded me a lot of a supreme pizza pocket, with strong notes of roasted capsicum (red), fresh green capsicum, chopped chili and paprika. Flavor is initially sweet but than overpowered by chopped red chilies and green capsicum with some paprika in the finish. Light bodied with fizzy carbonation, a watery texture and a bad finish. Now I am big fan of chili and Mexican cuisine but this was just plain crude and awful, the only true use I could see for it would be to stew meat with (i.e. to put in burritos). Also I warning for those who are stupid enough to try to eat the chili (i.e. me) don’t bother, it taste worst than the beer. pumpmaster (480), Pembroke Pines, Florida, USA

Brewed in Tecate, Mexico for Black Mountain. Awful! Just a waste of beer, money and chili pepper. Not even Mexicans like it. nqualls (1428), Nashville, Tennessee, USA

Foul vegetal aroma with some resemblance to chili. The taste yields a brief glimpse of pale lager, then a vicious and aggressive heat that puts your average Madras curry to shame. Two hours later my tongue and throat still sting. Had to chug my wife’s White Zinfandel to take away the taste. It really is as bad as they say: the world’s worst beer. Sandman2222 (42), Florida, USA

However, if you happen to be eating spicy Mexican food, or are just trying to see who wants to be the fool to crap fire the next day, this is the beer I want. The best way to drink is extra cold, almost frozen. The chili pepper comes out strong and will hurt all but the most iron of stomachs. bembelembe (153), Zagreb, Croatia

It’s hard to distinct components apart of this hot sensation, but it certainly goes with the beer. Golden color, smells of chilli. It comes with chilly paprika within bottle. makinhay (1), , Colorado, USA does not count | 5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 10/10 | 5/5 | 10/10 | 5/5 | 20/20 | Jul 26, 2008 This is a very good beer!! He spat it out immediately. Thankfully, he still likes us.
