Well.. I can’t say it is the worst beer I have ever had. But it is far from the best. The only reason I can find to drink it is to say you have. A Great beer for a tasting but little else. The initial taste is a OK combination of the so-so beer and the HOT chili. After a half of the bottle the aftertaste is to mush and stops being enjoyable

Probably the oldest rating I’ll ever do from memory, but the horrid experience of trying this beer is forever etched into my memory. Picked up the bottle on my first trip to the Blue Max years ago. I love spicy things. Akevitt and a few other friends managed to pry me away from my Cognac collection long enough to try beer, which I was beginning to like. So I’m thinking "hmmn, beer and pepper. This could be good". Probably the stupidest thought I’ve ever had while not under the influence of ... just about anything. The taste was a truly horrid thing, combining the worst stomach turning aspect of a pepper with a lager. The only time a beer or a spirit has ever made me vomit from its own intrinsic qualities rather than overindulgence.

My god, this is HOT!!!! Not at all what i expected, really! Furthermore this sucks as beer, i drank pepper-wodka that tasted much better. Smells and tastes like pepper and nothing more. One sip is enough.....and if you want serious heartburn, drink the whole bottle!

Honestly...Nothing is this bad. NOTHING. I have finally found the beer that is completely intolerable. Between FOUR people tasting this beer, we managed to only drink to the bottom of the neck of a single bottle between all of us. I really tried...really

Ok, this is gimmick beer, but damn did they need to make so freakin hot? The jalopeno is there as a fair warning...this beer is hot! Clear yellow color with light head. Highly carbonated and ultra spicy. I rated it, and I shall never drink this again.

Pours a flat yellow color. Smells of jalepeno juice. The taste right away isn’t very potent but the palate definetely is. Tastes more of habenero than jalepeno. Me and my brother couldn’t finish the bottle. Worth trying to rate it but don’t expect to be impressed.

Poured a clear yellow color with no head at all. Aroma of sweet peppers. Worst mouthfeel of any beer I’ve ever had. Almost no carbonation at all. Taste of chili peppers and little else. Burning pepper aftertaste. Avoid this beer, unless you really, really, really want to rate a beer from AZ and this is the only one you can find. Although you’re really better off going to Arizona to find something else.

12 oz bottle from DiCarlo Mundelien. I like spicy food, I put hot sauce on most everything. A lot of people I hear actually like this beer, so I thought I too could be one of those. ... the infamous chili beer, here goes. Pepper in the bottle, that’s cool. Pours a clear yellow with a tlittle white head. Not much in the nose. some malt/grain. Let’s just take a sip .. whoa .. i expected spice and I love spice but his so hot. Pure chili spice and salt. The spice inflames my throat and salt covers my tongue, is that salt in the beer or my tongue’s reaction to the chili. Now I just have to get these flavors out of my mouth.
