The larger is a bit better than a major macro but infused with the chil pepper it becomes a unique taste I enjoyed. I would only drink it with salty , meaty food, but it hits the spot.
The pepper inside is well preserved but when I ate some of it it had lost its falvor and heat. The more you drink the thirstier you get. That’s funny.

I tasted nothing but chilli, which I normally love, but which just doesn’t fit in beer---any more than hops in salsa. 1FastSTi (2560), Glendale, Wisconsin, USA
| 1.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 2/10 | 1/5 | 3/20 | Oct 2, 2006 Via cbkschubert. The beer pours to a really carbonated gold body. The aroma is generic spicey pale lager. The flavor is simply a crappy pale beer that has a really spicy kick. Extremely spicy warming palate. Would it even make a good marinade? | 1.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 1/5 | 5/10 | 1/5 | 8/20 | Sep 24, 2006 Bottle from cbkschubertl Nose of corn and CHILI!; gold with a little red tinge (to make it look spicy?)l not much head; the lager flavor is masked by the jalapeno warmth of the chili; definately a medium hot flavor, but no where close to habenero strength, would make a good tri-tip marinade for those of us who like fire here in California. A LOT more flavor than pale lagers! I am marinating some pieces of chicken in the last half of the beer. Should taste good! bager (2121), Copenhagen N, Denmark

| 1.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 1/10 | 3/5 | 1/20 | Sep 22, 2006 Pours a clear gold with no lasting head. The aroma is a faint chile pungency. On the tongue it explodes into stale cigarette ash and throat burning heat. Nothing else is discernable. Hideous. nick76 (2657), Tampa, Florida, USA
| 1.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 5/20 | Sep 21, 2006 Updated: Mar 25, 2007The aroma is almost completely dominated by the chili pepper. There is some corn malt as well. The appearance is straw gold with almost no head but the floating chili is quite humorous. The flavor is like the aroma with some corn malt but completely dominated by the chili pepper. My mouth and throat are burning. The palate is thin but it’s hardly worth noting in this beer. The aftertaste is burning chili pepper. I have to say I don’t like it because this is not my thing but if you like really hot stuff this beer is not that bad.
