Bottle. Dull golden-yellow color with no head. Chili and not much else - especially in the first few mouthfulls. Warms all the way down - and keeps warming (long chili finish). Thin bodied. Fun to try but awful!

Brackish. I feel like a swallowed a lit cigarette. Peppery, and at the same time extremely salty. I cannot taste the alcohol. Dont see myself drinking this again.

Bottle: Smells like spicey chili. Pours a pale yellow with a head that can never get going. After sitting for about 2 minutes it almost looks flat. Light chili flavor up front with an almost hot sauce like finish. My lips burned for a good ten minutes after drinking this beer. Definitely a novelty beer. Not very good, but interesting.

without a doubt THE WORST beer I’ve EVER had. A novelity at best. I gave it a try because I’m a big fan of cajun cooking and anything jalepano, but this beer is awful.

I had such high hopes for this beer, esp since I love spicy food. The aroma of spicy chilies further encouraged me, and I enjoyed the fiery gold color. But the taste....hoo boy. If it was just spicy, I would have liked it, but it also had an oily bitterness that I found very unpleasant. I rarely pour out a beer, and I did finish one, but when I tried to give it a second chance, I simply couldn’t do it. My only hope for the remaining bottles is that it might taste o.k. as an ingredient in chili or as a meat marinade. I might try that...then again, do I want to ruin a whole pot of chili? I wonder if anyone has successfully cooked with this stuff.

Bottle. Jim Dunsmore at my place of work gave me this on a dare to drink it... After one taste, he wins. I spit it into the sink and poured the rest of this swill down the drain and I know that my septic system is pissed at me now. Terrible stuff. Pours an interesting burnt golden color and the nose is definitely of hot pepper as is the taste, but that taste is simply bad. There is no good reason to consume rotgut shit like this. No reason at all...

i have seen this on many beer shelves over the years but never was even curious...because com’on can we take this serious. one of my friends ordered it over the weekend. so curiosity finallly got to me. typical gold white head color, sediment i guess of chili pepper. smelled hot like tangy cracked pepper. the flavor is completely dominated by the red chili pepper, hot to the lips and probably could blow your stomach apart if you kept drinking. this one wasnt finished. curiousity gone.

Strong chili aroma. No head. Strong chili taste, can’t really taste much else. Leaves the lips slightly burning. I’d like to see someone slam a six pack of this stuff. Worth a try.
