Leaves the lips slightly burning. I’d like to see someone slam a six pack of this stuff. Worth a try. fermentations (4), McKinney, Texas, USA does not count | 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 2/5 | 8/10 | 2/5 | 15/20 | Jan 26, 2005 This beer makes a great novelty gift, but it also tastes fantastic. Living in Texas, I am accustomed to spicy things and this certainly is one. The beer itself is thin with little head and not very impressive. The aroma is like that of Mexican food and the taste follows suit. Wonderfully flavored, spicy, complex, more like food than drink, but yummy. Finishes with a fire on your tongue and throat, so be warned. Would be a wonderulf marinade for fajita meat! JCapriotti (1378), Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA

Smells like.... chili pepper, like something I’d throw on the grill flames while cooking burgers and the grease flares up (hmmmm....). Also has an "oily" smell to... a sweet oily pepper. Tastes like ass. Light sweet flavor, blockaded pepper. veronika (410), Sweden

It’s not good by any means, but certainly not the worst. Awful gassy aroma, no head, yellow and bubbly. The flavor wasn’t entirely terrible though. Chili flavor (surprise surprise), some heat. Lingers in the back of my mouth for a few minutes. joss (3680), Garching b. München, Germany

Pale straw, low carbonation, no head.
Well what can I say - chili flavor, not more not less. My bottle was quite hot - Its like a very thin olio picante. Metallic hot chili aftertaste. It was fun to taste, but it is not a pleasant drink. Sully (1367), Woolloomooloo, New South Wales, Australia

I have tasted my number one beer here in the UK so lets give this one a go. Only 100 percentage points between this one and the Fullers London Porter. Hmmm, not enough. Surely the Pitfield gentlemen would have seen that I was buying good quality beers, and this one. Well, as everyone else has said, Why? This would be quite good as a marinade for beef that you were going to use in a chili. Full stop. There is no ratemarinade as far as I know and so it cannot score highly in another website as far as I am aware. Idiotic. rlgk (3378), Vårgårda, Sweden
