Clear bottle (oh, oh) showing a light golden color. Pepper floating on the top. I guess I’ll give an extra for appearance for the floating Pepper. Smells like chili/peppers. I usually love chlli, but my beer smelling like one? Burning taste (can I call it a taste). Spicy. Do yourself a favor, and resist the urge (I couldn’t and regret it)... If someone came up to me and said "Here, try this chocolate covered sauerkraut", I would know better. But chili pepper in beer? Sure, pass it on down! This is worse than you can imagine. I think Dogbrick sums up this beer very accurately by calling it "Bottled swamp-ass". It wasn’t really hot in the mouth, but man this stuff burned like hell all the way down. I thought someone switched my beer with battery acid. I really recommend you stay far, far away from this one, but if you are anything like me, you are going to try it anyway. | 0.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 1/5 | 1/10 | 1/5 | 1/20 | Oct 23, 2004 Bottle: Pours golden yellow with no head and a chili pepper in the glass. Aroma has chili, a hint of chili, and finishes out with a touch of chili. Holy sweet damn this beer is awful. There’s this sickening sweet corn flavor in the beginning about a half second before the hot chili pepper takes over. It’s medium hot, burns my mouth, lips, and all the way down. Now all I can taste is burning. Shit. This may be the most undrinkable beer I’ve tried. Well, I’m going to go throw up now. Yankovitch333 (612), Chesapeake City, Maryland, USA

It tasted like an old can of Milwaukee’s Best with a chili pepper in it. Did I mention how bad it was? The pepper was even bad. It was flat and the aroma was terrible. It was hot, but not as hot as I thought. And you know what? I have a friend that really likes this beer. He also LOVES Goebel and Busch Light. bleeng (598), Spring near Beersel, Texas, USA

This is a pilsener with chili and nothing more. I love chili but not mixed with beer! An extra point for beeing original though. madsberg (4971), Søborg, Denmark
| 1.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 6/20 | Sep 12, 2004 Bottled: Very pale yellow. No head. Nice chili flavour, but the chilifruit swimming around is weak. I had the pleasure of eating it. Not much more than the chili sensations going on in this beer. Its quite funny but as a beer, I don’t know. I don’t hate it as many others, I rather find it quite funny. Many thanks to Jens for sharing this. Ungstrup (15261), Frederiksberg, Denmark
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 1/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | Sep 11, 2004 The aroma is lovely chili - not very beer like, but nice. The color is yellow and it has no head. The flavor is totally dominated by chili. This is not a beer I’ll drink a lot of, but it is still a nice beer.
