Very pale yellow with no head. Very little aroma. Very watery body with no flavor. Just lots of heat from the jalepeno floating about in the bottle. Most likely would not buy again.

Bottle. Aaaah, I finally had the chance to try this winner. Fortunately I split it with a friend so I only had to pour half a beer down the drain. It’s cloudy straw color was actually a lot darker and more full looking than I was expecting. Poured almost completely flat despite a hard pour. Smelled like really cheap hot sauce and tasted the same. Watery hot sauce soda that had gone flat maybe? I was still tasting this one long into the next beer. I’m glad I got to try this, but it was certainly the worst beer I’ve ever come across.

[bottle] Aroma is of a malty yellow lager behind a thick curtain of jalepeno pepper. Clear, dark straw with no top, except for a floating green chili. Flavour is sweet and ethanolic in front of potent, spicy jalepeno pepper. The sweetness is not too strong, but throws the beer a bit off balance. Besides that, the beer finishes more or less clean. Light body, medium carbonation. Not disgusting, but I’ve had much better chili beers.

BOTTLE: easily the worst beer I’ve ever had, thin, yellow, tastes like vinegar with a lot of spice. Instructions: spit first mouthful into sink, rinse it down with the rest of the bottle.

I actually really liked this beer. Sure I couldn’t drink it all night but it is a really unique brew. Strong flavor of chili with a lingering hotness.

There appears to be some sort of pepper in this beer, strange. Pours a pale kind of dull gold with no head (I poured really violently and probably would have gotten more foam from tap water) and a really high effervescence emanating from the little green chili in the glass. There are also little white flakes at the bottom of the glass like wax shavings or something, this beer is not attractive. Aroma is almost all pepper, a little tangy and a decent amount of chili spice (capsaicin?) there is also a rather strong corn note that kind of reminds me of tamales. Flavor is vaguely sweet at first, then, slightly tangy, a hint of corn, tonic water, and some hotness but not that much in the flavor, mostly hot in my stomache unless I hold it in my mouth for a really long time which brings out more nasty corn. You know what? Who cares, I like spicy food as much as the next guy but this stuff is an abomination of beer it has almost no malt character, a nasty corn taste and I doubt there is any hop, spice, herb or anything to liven the brew but the pepper. It is like calling wine coolers beer because they come in a similar bottle. Some douchebag just decided to make the cheapest and crappiest beer possible and sell bottles on a stupid gimmick.... that I fell for.....aww crap!

clear yellowish gold, quickly disappearing white head, modestly lacy. aroma has some capsaicin, touch of grain. nice taste of chili pepper in a mild lager. medium bodied, mild capsaisin aftertaste. quite enjoyable. the whole pepper is a grand idea. i sometimes drop sport peppers in macro beers to make them more interesting. to someone like me, who eats a lot of jalapenos, the whole chili in the bottle makes a great snack while drinking. 6 pack from liquor depot in monee.

IT IS REALLY SPICY! But it is not very good.... I used to drink one of these at the end of the night to sort of drive the nail into the coffin of my palate. I wish it was still called Crazy Eds.
