Jul 4, 2006 Gold, thin head, light lacing. Nose of light sweet malt, some floral hops. A sweet malty flavor, nice balance, still lacking a good clean character. Malty finish, needs more body and hops.

May 10, 2006 Bottle. Pours a clear golden with a decent albeit short-lived white head. Light scents of hops on the nose. Flavors are somewhat sweet with fruit in the background. Very pleasent, not overbearing. Definately a session and/or lawnmower brew. Not very full bodied, but light and refreshing.

Jun 1, 2006 Pours a cloudy orange from the bottle (not really an amber color at all). Thin head, no lacing to speak of. Good crisp carbonation. Strong hop flavor (bitter and biting), but not overpowering. Nice hop aroma as well. This seems more like a pale ale than an IPA or APA. It doesn’t tip the hop balance in either of those directions.

Sep 4, 2007 Poured a clear light cgold with a large white head. The aroma was toasty and very malty with hops mixed in. The flavor was citrusy and earthy hopped with a malty base. Mildly bitter and semi-dry.

Apr 11, 2007 This APA pours a light gold color from a 12oz bottle. Medium sized white foamy head. Aroma is fruity and sweet. Medium bodied American Pale Ale. Malts are fruity and sweet. Hops are slightly earthy and a touch floral. Kind of mild tasting. A touch sweet and fruity, seems more of a golden ale than an APA. Drinkable, but nothing memorable. There are lots of beers out there that fall into this category. Well made and tasty, but similar to 1000s of other beers out there. Not that’s it a bad thing. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly sweet.

Feb 6, 2007 Bottle; nose is grainy and breadywith a tiny hop note; semi hazed gold with a small white head; sweet whaet flavor with only a tiny bit of hops in the finish! My wife’s grandmother lived on Cayucos Beach until she passed, I was hoping for a better tribute beer to toast in her honor!
