Commercial Description:
Tournay Noire is a beer, refermented in the bottle, with an alcohol content of 7,6%. It contains only natural ingredients: water, four malts, two hops, yeast and sugar. We select special malts and very traditional hops to give it a powerful, long flavour in the mouth and a quite a strong hint of bitterness. This is a beer that will really appeal to Stout lovers!!

Large and lasting head fed by dynamic carbonation. Pleasant, relatively fresh grainy aroma with a roasty side that never becomes agressive, never reaches out towards acidity nor metallic aspects. Not all that perfumey, but spicy, peppery, herbal. A distinct basement/cement note is not unpleasant to the nose, but becomes a bit plastic reminiscent as it warms up. Moderate earthy, leafy hoppiness joins with the hard water’s mineral side to provoke a dry and refreshing finish. Perhaps a bit phenolic in the end. Light-bodied, but comfortable texture and fair drinkability. Good!

330ml Bottle: Aroma of malts, chocolate, acid, light roasting, a hint of coffee, and dust. Poured very dark brown in color with a huge, dense, fluffy, tan head that diminished but lasted throughout. Cloudy. Lightly sparkling. Full of huge and small particles throughout. Flavor is lightly sweet and medium bitter. Tastes of roasted malts, tar, slight caramel, hops, slight alcohol, slight sourdough, slight brown sugar, chocolate, slight yeast, slight metal, a hint of wood, and dust. Medium body. Tingly, then chalky texture. Average to lively carbonation.

Bottle Labeled Tournay Black Belgian Stout 7.6%, can you tell im not sure i’m posting in the right place. Pours a black body with a tan fluffy 3 finger head. Licorice, light spices, coffee bitterness and some roasted malt. Sweet body with a chocolate like feel, and moderate carbonation that kinda stings the tongue. Dry roasty finish with a touch of cane sugar. I would have liked this more if it wasn’t for the high carbonation. Chewy creamy with a sediment like bite to it. I liked it.
