Commercial Description:
Tournay Noire is a beer, refermented in the bottle, with an alcohol content of 7,6%. It contains only natural ingredients: water, four malts, two hops, yeast and sugar. We select special malts and very traditional hops to give it a powerful, long flavour in the mouth and a quite a strong hint of bitterness. This is a beer that will really appeal to Stout lovers!!

Bottle thanks to bu11zeye. Listed as Tournay Black. Light brown, fluffy head resides over a near black body. Aroma is very yeasty with chocolate, cocoa, a bit of orange, caramel and plastic. Taste is roasty with tobacco, smoky, dirt and a bit of burnt wood. Watery mouthfeel and light carbonation.

75cl bottle at home, iRate: pours a very dark chestnut brown, almost black. A tall tan head sits on top buy fades to a thin film. Aromas of roasted malts with alcohol. Some bakers chocolate and grassy hops float around in the darkness. A minerally quality starts to come up after time. Swirling brings up a damp earthy must. The CO2 creates a roast explosion on the tongue. Quite a bit of roast but never harsh... Almost too smooth. Some grassy notes are noticed just before a minerally charcoal quality develops. Long drying roast finish with touches of alcohol and grass. If it wasn’t for the oddly charcoal like component this would be a great beer.
