Commercial Description:
Tournay Noire is a beer, refermented in the bottle, with an alcohol content of 7,6%. It contains only natural ingredients: water, four malts, two hops, yeast and sugar. We select special malts and very traditional hops to give it a powerful, long flavour in the mouth and a quite a strong hint of bitterness. This is a beer that will really appeal to Stout lovers!!

Bottle conditioned, 330ml at Bier Circus, Brussels. Black with tan head. The real deal and the best beer of the whole trip. Smooth and dark chocolate, roasty but with a sweetish fruity background. Full and mouth filling, an absolute belter. The additional alcohol just peeked out from behind the malts. Liked it lots.

Bottled @ EBF 2008. Dark brown, almost black body with a big beige head. Aroma is roasted malt and spicy. Flavor is sweet, roasted malt, some coffee, fruity and a bit spicy. A nice mix of Belgium ale and stout, balanced.

Bottle Labeled Tournay Black Belgian Stout 7.6%, can you tell im not sure i’m posting in the right place. Pours a black body with a tan fluffy 3 finger head. Licorice, light spices, coffee bitterness and some roasted malt. Sweet body with a chocolate like feel, and moderate carbonation that kinda stings the tongue. Dry roasty finish with a touch of cane sugar. I would have liked this more if it wasn’t for the high carbonation. Chewy creamy with a sediment like bite to it. I liked it.

It is a black beer with a red hue and a huge, creamy and lasting head. The aroma has notes of roasted malt, chocolate and licorice. The flavour has a light sweetness and notes of roasted malt, licorice, light chocolate and a light roasted bitterness. It is very harmonic, full-bodied and nice.

Draft. A pitch black beer with a brown head. The aroma is sweet with notes of roasted malt and chocolate with a slight underlying acidity from the roasted malt. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of roasted malt, a sharp note of ground cocoa and coffee beans on the palate, as well as notes of dark bitter chocolate, and a slight acidity from the hard roasted malt coming along in the finish. The mouthfeel is very creamy and the alcohol tickles the tongue.

Bottle. Black with a big beige foam. Aromas are peaty and smoky with coffee, berries and yeast. Some hints of lactose. Flavours are dark chocolate with coffee. Liquorice with earthy notes and berries with floral notes on the finish. Peppery on the aftertaste. Good.
