The real deal and the best beer of the whole trip. Smooth and dark chocolate, roasty but with a sweetish fruity background. Full and mouth filling, an absolute belter. The additional alcohol just peeked out from behind the malts. Liked it lots. Beer2000 (1841), Kristiansand, Norway

| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Mar 31, 2009 Bottle Labeled Tournay Black Belgian Stout 7.6%, can you tell im not sure i’m posting in the right place. Pours a black body with a tan fluffy 3 finger head. Licorice, light spices, coffee bitterness and some roasted malt. Sweet body with a chocolate like feel, and moderate carbonation that kinda stings the tongue. Dry roasty finish with a touch of cane sugar. I would have liked this more if it wasn’t for the high carbonation. Chewy creamy with a sediment like bite to it. I liked it. Maria (6315), Thisted, Denmark
