Papsoe (10510), Frederiksberg, Denmark Oct 11, 2008 (Bottle 33 cl) Slightly hazy orangey brown with a vague tint of orange and a rough beige head. Aroma of roasted malt and dried fruit. Medium body with a heavy carbonation. Hard roasted malt accents, a little burned caramel and dried fruit. Ends a little dry. 140908 Ole_R (1304), Oslo, Norway Oct 1, 2008 Bottled@EBF 2008. Dark mahogny colored with a firm beige head. Moderate aroma of dry dark malts and dried dark fruita. Taste is clean, fairly dry and malty with some fine bittering hops to balance. Roastiness and dark dried fruits underneath. Not very filling for 7.6% beer. Feels little watered down in the mouth. Short dryish ending. fishingnet (861), Brandon, Florida, USA Sep 21, 2008 Bottle courtesy of Sebletitje. Pours a very dark brown with a one finger light tan head that leaves good lacing. Aroma of dark fruit and roasted malt. Taste is the same as aroma. Medium thin mouthfeel with a mild to moderate amount of bitterness. Good. thebeertourist (1889), Oslo, Norway Sep 20, 2008 From tap at Bruxellensis 2008. Dark brown with red tones. Healthy tan head. Fruit and roast aromas. Quite good roast flavours, mild fruit.
