Bottled 0.75 l (Alko). Pours slightly hazy golden-orange with virtually no head. Slightly rotten apples in the dry aroma. There’s also some strong, sweaty, matured cheese. Sweet apples, some raspberry and wood in the flavor. This isn’t that dry as you might imagine. Softly carbonated, a little sticky and a little watery on the palate.

0.75l bottle shared with heavy, found in France
Poured a slightly darker golden-orange-amber something. Nice. Slightly dusty gluey nose, finely sweet and appley. Nice. The taste is a bit light but not too much. Slightly gluey and appley again, with a damn nice appley slightly corky sourish finish. It’s not terribly complex but very pleasant and tasty.

A very warm, welcoming apple aroma, but has no complexity in it at all. Looks very appealing as well, but no real head to speak of. The flavour is not complex, but still excellent - lots of apple hints, from the skin to the stems, lots of different flavours in the same realm of flavours of apple. Great mouthfeel. A very drinkable cider and worth trying.

750ml bottle (Alko)
Lovely mellow apple aroma - some light woodiness. Excellent mellow oaky and vanilla-ey body, crisp and fruity, but the apples play second fiddle to the soft woodiness. Wonderful quality, as always from Ecusson, and I think this would be stunning if they chose to brew it to English strengths.

Bottle, 5%. The flavour is a bit sweet for a brut. OK real apple flavour with a little apple core note, but without the core bitterness. Some OK moldy notes as well. The finish is slightly salty/isotonic.

Bottled. A dark golden cider with a thin off-white head. The aroma is apply combined with notes of alcohol and wood. The flavor is sweet with notes of apple core, leading to a slightly tart finish.

Bottle 37,5 cl. Courtesy of fiulijn. Hazy golden with a rough white head. Has a lightly tart but very authentic apple aroma. Medium body, good carbonation, lightly sweet and very clean apple notes. Very discreet tartness. A pleasant not too hardcore farmhouse cider. 141208

37.5 cL bottle, courtesy of Papsoe/fiulijn. Pours almost clear golden yellow with a fully gone head. Dry apple and slight phenolic aroma. Apple juice aroma. Sweet apple flavoured with a light phenolic note on the back of the nose. Ends dry and phenolic.
