thebeertourist (2005), Oslo, Norway Sep 26, 2008 Bottle. Hazy reddish brown with a fierce, tan head. Sweet aroma, hints of mint and chewing gum as well as quite a lot of licorice and roasted malts. Sweet, roasted malts, mint and licorice flavours. A bit too sweet and spiced, but drinkable nonetheless.
JensenTaster (1486), Denmark Dec 15, 2007 (on bottle) OK, this might be one of the worst beers I´ve had for a long time. This murky brown ale, has the distint aroma of a bitter called Fernet Menta, in a very bad way, there´s a slight roasty malt in the finish, but otherwise, the taste is coughsyrup all the way. Really, it tastes like a bad carbonated english brown ale has been added some synth liqourice and a bad brand of Morrocan mintwater. Yikes, total drainpure.
