Clear amber color, tight white head, some lace. Nose has toffee, smoked ham (!) and grassy hops. Malty with light toffee sweetness, rye, smoke, finishing to bitterish hops. Unbalanced and not very enjoyable. sayravai (3760), Helsinki, Finland
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Aug 18, 2005 (Bottled) Clear amber color with a small, vanishing, lacy head. Sweetish-caramely, fruity and slightly yeasty aroma with acidic and sour hints. Sweet-malty, somewhat fruity and hoppy, slightly acidic, bitter and sour flavor with rye and toffee hints. Medium-bodied, bitter and acidic palate with moderate carbonation. I’m pretty sure this is Tongerlo 6 Blonde, since it felt familiar from the first sniff. A slightly below-average blond, but drinkable. Papsoe (15103), Frederiksberg, Denmark

Filtered with a HUGE head that never flattens - quite impressive. Typical Belgian yeasty notes, otherwise fruity with some nutty notes. Fresh with some bitterness in the palate. "Celestus" is a brand for a Belgian supermarket-chain (have forgotten which) and I wonder if this is just a Tongerlo 6 Blond in disguise? 050305 Gusler (2655), Tucson, Arizona, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Aug 12, 2004 The disembogues from the 330ml brown bottle a lightly clouded amber color with a dinosauric semi-creamy light tan head and as it slowly fades to nothingness the lace forms a satin sheet to lie upon the glass. The aroma of ripe peaches, sweet and appetizing; crisp with the start sweet and the malt profile perfect, top is light to moderate in its feel to the palate. Finish is stern in its acidity, the hops ever so mild but pleasant, very dry and lingering aftertaste, ah what is better than a well made beer, “Hell Yeah”, another well-made beer. | 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Mar 23, 2004 A bit darker blond beer with a small white head. The aroma is candy sugar and light malty. The taste is initially very sweet and fruity with a more bitter finish. Quite an ok beer but lacks that little extra.
