Clear copper coloured body is topped by a shy off white head that recedes to a partial cover. Flavour is quite sweet with some toasted malt character and a fair bit of pie-like spicing. Sweetness lingers with no bitterness to take the edge off. Medium light body is somewhat watery in texture. Tulip glass. Just above fridge temperature. Can purchased at Brewery Creek in Oct-09.

Smell is earthy pumpkin, light cinnamon, cloves and allspice, caramel. Flavor is a subtle balance of the aromas with more biscuity notes. Body is quite light with some resin. I think this was a smart choice for a seasonal pumpkin ale that is just complex enough for connaisseurs but light enough not to scare off the masses. Kudos to the brewers, but based on the greatness of their Imperial IPA, I would love to see them do an Imperial pumpkin. JHunter (245), British Columbia, Canada

Light pumpkin taste with trace of cinnamon and trace of cloves. Lingers reasonably in the finish without being brash or overdone. Reasonably well crafted beer from a style that I admittedly have issues with. Certainly better than the Granville Island pumpkin offering. Crit (2404), New Westminster, British Columbia, Canada
